Les couteaux brevetés Sheldon ont été commercialisés comme couteaux d'ouverture à une seule main au cours des années 1950, ouverture d'une main simple mais robuste. celui-ci est marqué avec les marques Wade - Butcher, Sheffield Angleterre ainsi que la croix maltaise et de l'autre côté, il est marqué "knife Sheldon" brevet britannique no.1056094 en acier inoxydable.

La lame unique en acier inoxydable Sheffield 16 mm au total avec un tranchant de 67 mm, le pivot est monté dans un cadre en laiton Le couteau est en excellent bon état,
